London Particular Split yellow pea & flaked ham hock soup which is named after Victorian-era London’s famous thick & heavy fog

Corned Beef Our famous home-made pressed salt-cured brisket of beef with Sam’s own brown sauce & home pickled onions

Arbroath Smokie Pot Baked, flaked smoked haddock, tomato, cheese sauce made with 12-month aged Quickes’ Cheddar from Newton St Cyres topped with breadcrumbs

Stuffed Field Mushrooms Roast flat mushrooms, filled with rosary goat’s cheese from Langford on the edge of the New Forrest – dressed with garlic spinach, Ormskirk kale pesto & walnuts

Smoked mackerel and cream cheese pate’ with gooseberry ketchup & sourdough toasts

The Traditional Turkey Dinner

Sliced award-winning English rose free-range turkey breast, honey-roast Wiltshire ham, goose fat roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts with chestnuts, ‘pigs in blankets’, roast parsnips, buttered carrots, cranberry stuffing & a jug of gravy

Braised Beef in Ale

Blade of Lancashire beef braised for eight hours in our own Manchester ale with horseradish mash & parsnip crisps

Mutton Chophouse Curry

Slow-cooked Cumbrian mutton in hand-ground spices with steamed basmati rice, Albert’s own Chutney & crispy poppadoms

Glamorgan ‘Sausages’ The traditional Welsh vegetarian classic: fried Caerphilly cheese, leek & breadcrumb sausages with spicy tomato butter beans & tpasted parsley crumbs

Dukesmoor Rib Eye Steak 28-day aged 8oz rib eye steak served chop house chips,  slow-roasted tomato and a field mushroom, served with a choice of peppercorn or Bearnaise sauce or chop house butter (£4 Supplement)

Our festive wine list offers a 10% discounts on wines pre-ordered before your Christmas party and is now available to order from.
