BY CAR

M6/M56 (Northbound)
  • Exit the M6 at J19 taking the third exit at the roundabout onto Chester Road A566.
  • Continue straight ahead onto A50.
  • At the major roundabout bear right onto the M56.
  • Follow the M56 until it turns into the A5103 signposted for the city centre.
  • Take the A5103 into the centre of Manchester until you reach a major roundabout with an overpass.
  • Go straight over the roundabout and turn left onto Whitworth Street.
  • At the end of that road turn right onto Deansgate/A56
  • Continue straight past Quay Street and turn left onto Bridge Street / A34
  • Turn right onto St Mary’s Parsonage
  • Take 1st right onto Kings Street West the car park will on the left.
M62 (Westbound)
  • Take the M62 east to Manchester
  • Exit motorway at J20 following the A627 (M) to Oldham
  • Continue straight ahead onto Broadway A663
  • Bear right onto Oldham Road A62
  • Turn right onto Swan Street / A665. Continue to follow A665
  • Turn left onto New Bridge Street / A665
  • Turn left onto Great Ducie Street / A56 Continue to follow A56

  • Continue onto St Mary’s Parsonage

M62 (Eastbound)
  • Take the M62 west to Manchester
  • Exit at J12 onto the M602 Eccles bypass
  • At junction 3 take the A5063 exit to Salford / Trafford Park
  • At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Albion Way A5063
  • Turn right onto Crescent / A6. Continue to follow A6
  • Continue onto Chapel Street
  • Turn right onto New Bailey St / A34. Continue to follow A34
  • Take the 2nd left onto St Mary’s Parsonage
  • Take the 1st right onto King Street West
  • Where you will find a multi-storey car park on the left
M6 (Southbound)
  • Take the M6 South
  • As you approach the outskirts of Manchester continue straight ahead onto the M61
  • Shortly after, continue straight ahead onto the M60

BY BUS

Most buses to the City Centre stop at Piccadilly Gardens, Portland Street, Cross Street or Shudehill Exchange. From all of these locations Sam’s Chop House is within reasonable walking distance. When in the city centre, you can hop on one of the Metroshuttle buses. These are free and link to all the main rail stations, shopping districts and businesses in the city centre. Metroshuttle operates from 7am – 7pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 6pm on Sundays and runs approximately every 10 minutes.
